BFA Exhibition

I am happy to present my work at the 2023 UConn Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition which is on view through April 13th - 28th!

As a storyteller, I work in traditional illustration to communicate my ideas and narratives. Inspired by the works of manga artist Junji Ito and films like Lamb to the Slaughter (1958), I used pen and ink to create the psychological thriller comic book, Family.

Family follows Felicity Adams, a doting wife that provides for husband James, who seems to be hiding a secret. Despite the tension, the college sweethearts seem ready for the next step in their relationship, moving into a house. The loving Adams are due to settle down and maybe start a family of their own! While in the process of moving, the resident child menace Wyatt starts sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. As a latchkey kid, the only thing stopping him are the tenants and callous landlord. Their negligence may be the only thing that allows him to uncover a dark mystery hidden within apartment 13.
